Naming & Rebranding

The perfect name is not a matter of taste

It is an assembly of technical properties - findability, intent capture, trust, machine legibility. We help founders and CEOs choose names that win, and then secure them.

Why the name decides, technically

Strip away the branding romance and a name is infrastructure. Four mechanisms do the work:

The radio test

A name heard once must be typeable on the first try. Every dropped vowel, number, or clever misspelling forks your traffic - and some of it lands on a competitor forever.

Type-in intent

The exact-match .com captures people at the moment of highest intent, for free, before any ad auction. That captured intent is the mechanical source of a great name’s value.

The trust discount

Buyers judge unknown companies by their name before any pitch. A clean one-word .com reads as established; a workaround domain applies a credibility tax to every high-stakes conversation.

Search and AI engines

Search and answer engines resolve brands as entities. A distinct, exactly-matching name concentrates every mention, link, and citation on one identity instead of splitting it across variants.

The AI naming tool

Describe the company. Get ten radio-test-screened candidates - each checked against the live market.

Honest by design: if a great name costs $10 to register yourself, we say so.

The Naming Sprint

The tool shows you the terrain. The sprint gets you a name you can actually own. In two weeks you get:

  • A shortlist built for category ownership - both roads: exact-match and coined
  • Radio-test and collision screening on every candidate
  • The honest acquisition path for each: register, buy, quiet approach, or lease-to-own
  • Real cost ranges from comparable sales, not guesses
  • The full $2,500 credited toward any domain you purchase through QEIP

Rebranding an existing company?

A rebrand is a controlled demolition - the new name must be fully secured, quietly, before anything is announced. A leak reprices the domain overnight. We run the whole sequence: name selection, anonymous acquisition, escrow, clean cutover.

Common questions

Do you only recommend domains you have for sale?

No. The tool checks the whole market and labels each candidate honestly: many of the best answers are names you can register yourself for about $10, and we tell you so. Our book is only surfaced when a candidate happens to be in it.

What if the perfect name is already taken?

Most strong names are - and most are still acquirable. Owners rarely list; they respond to quiet, anonymous, well-structured approaches. That is the core of our buy-side practice.

Is a .com really worth the premium over .io or .ai?

For a company that intends to lead its category, usually yes: the .com captures type-in traffic, passes the radio test cleanly, and removes the credibility discount that alternative extensions carry in high-stakes conversations.

What does the $2,500 sprint actually buy?

Two weeks of professional naming work: a screened shortlist, collision checks, honest acquisition paths with real cost ranges, and the fee credited in full toward any domain you buy through us.
